2004 started off with a project to rid the flowerbed of snails. I dug down and removed the dirt. The concrete from the sidewalk had been poured too large underneath so I cut that back and put a concrete edge on the front of the flowerbed too.

I liked Wilson Mountain in Sedona so much, I hiked it again on August 29th.
West of Prescott is Granite Mountain, which I hiked in the early 90’s and was glad to return on Sept 5th.
Glen and I left Phoenix at 4am Friday sept 17th for Reno Nevada and a day at the Reno Air Races. We spent the night in Carson City, and on Saturday flew over the mountains across Lake Tahoe then southwest along the Sierras enroute to a fly-in at Riverside California. The Los Angeles basin was covered in fog so we had breakfast at Apple Valley, stopped in Barstow for gas and came back to Phoenix. On September 30th George the cat came home. October 16th, a flight to Las Cruces, New Mexico for the annual gathering of homebuilt aircraft models designed by Vans aircraft.
